The Denver Nuggets will take on the New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at Madison Square Garden. New York is 4-17 overall and 3-8 at home, while Denver is 13-5 overall and 5-2 on the road. The Nuggets have lost two straight after having won six in a row. The Knicks have lost seven in a row, including four straight at home. Denver has beaten New York in eight of the past nine meetings. Denver is favored by nine points in the latest Knicks vs. Nuggets odds, while the over-under is set at 203. Before entering any Nuggets vs. Knicks picks, you'll want to see the NBA predictions from the model at SportsLine.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times, and last season it returned a whopping $4,280 on its top-rated NBA spread and money line picks. It's already returned over $1,400 in profit on all its top-rated NBA picks during the 2019-20 season and entered Week 7 on a blistering 15-3 run on all top-rated NBA against the spread picks. Anybody who has followed it has seen huge returns.

Now, it has simulated Knicks vs. Nuggets 10,000 times and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning over, and it's also generated a point-spread pick that is hitting in well over 50 percent of simulations. You can only see the pick at SportsLine.

The night started off rough for New York on Monday, and it ended that way, too in a 132-88 loss to Milwaukee. The Knicks were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 72-45.

Marcus Morris, the Knicks' leading scorer at 18.7 points per game, has missed the last two games with a neck injury. He is questionable for tonight's game.

Meanwhile, Denver came up short against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, falling 105-96. One thing holding Denver back was the mediocre play of Will Barton; he finished with only five points on 2-for-11 shooting in his 37 minutes on the court.

Nikola Jokic has averaged just 9.0 points in his past four games, shooting 7-for-23 in his past two and he hasn't made a three-pointer in his past five outings, missing all 10 attempts.

Two stats to keep an eye on: The Knicks are stumbling into the contest with the fewest points per game in the league, having accrued only 100.9 on average. To make matters even worse for the Knicks, the Nuggets come into the game boasting the fewest points allowed per game in the league at 101.9.

So who wins Nuggets vs. Knicks? And which side of the spread hits in well over 50 percent of simulations? Visit SportsLine now to find out which side of the Nuggets vs. Knicks spread you need to jump on Thursday, all from the model that has crushed its NBA picks.

Rockets vs. Raptors odds, line, spread: 2019 NBA picks, Dec. 5 predictions from model on 15-3 roll

Rockets vs. Raptors odds, line, spread: 2019 NBA picks, Dec. 5 predictions from model on 15-3 roll

James Harden and the Houston Rockets will travel to Canada to face off against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday evening. Eric Gordon (knee) remains out for Houston but, aside from a few scattered injuries to supporting pieces, both teams are at near full strength for what should be an interesting showdown between playoff-caliber teams. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. ET at Air Canada Centre. Sportsbooks list the Raptors as two-point home favorites, holding steady from the opener, while the over-under, or total number of points Vegas thinks will be scored, is 231 in the latest Rockets vs. Raptors odds. Before you make any Rockets vs. Raptors picks or NBA predictions, see what SportsLine's advanced computer model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times, and last season it returned a whopping $4,280 on its top-rated NBA spread and money line picks. It's already returned over $1,400 in profit on all its top-rated NBA picks during the 2019-20 season and enters Week 7 on a blistering 15-3 run on all top-rated NBA against the spread picks. Anybody who has followed it has seen huge returns and consistently beaten NBA odds.

Now, the model has set its sights on Rockets vs. Raptors. We can tell you that the model is leaning under, and has generated a strong against the spread pick that is hitting in almost 70 percent of simulations. You can head to SportsLine to see it. Now, here are several NBA betting lines and trends for Rockets vs. Raptors.

  • Rockets vs. Raptors spread: Raptors -2
  • Rockets vs. Raptors over-under: 231 points
  • Rockets vs. Raptors money line: Raptors -129, Rockets +109
  • Rockets: Harden has scored 27 points or more in 19 straight games
  • Raptors: Toronto has won 7 of 8 games

The model has considered that the Rockets are a formidable opponent under any circumstances, and the biggest piece of that is the play of Harden. The former MVP is averaging 39.5 points to lead the NBA, and Harden adds 7.8 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game to fill out his overall arsenal.

Houston is coming off a disappointing loss to San Antonio earlier in the week and, as such, the visitors should be properly motivated in this spot. While the Rockets do not have an elite defense, there is one area in which Houston has a clear advantage, with the visitors posting a top-10 defensive turnover rate. The Raptors turn the ball over at a slightly below-average rate for the season and Houston's transition game could be powered by an uptick in giveaways from Toronto.

Just because Houston has a few edges, doesn't mean it will cover the Rockets vs. Raptors spread on Thursday.

The model is also aware that Toronto has been devastatingly effective on the defensive end this season. Houston enters with an elite-level offense but the Raptors rank near the top of the NBA in almost every defensive category. Though Toronto is not good on the defensive glass, that isn't a strength of Houston's offensive game, and the Raptors have multiple options to deploy in attempting to stop Harden and Russell Westbrook.

On the other side of the court, the Raptors have been better than expected this season, with Pascal Siakam emerging as a legitimate superstar in averaging 25.1 points per game. Toronto weathered the storm in the absence of Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka and, with that duo back in action, the Raptors have additional firepower. Toronto's top-10 overall offense will be in an advantageous situation against a below-average defense from Houston. That is especially true when it comes to shooting, with the Rockets lagging below the league average in defensive effective field goal percentage and the Raptors making their shots consistently.

So who wins Raptors vs. Rockets? And which side of the spread hits in almost 70 percent of simulations? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the Raptors vs. Rockets spread you need to jump on Thursday, all from the model that has crushed its NBA picks, and find out.

They have the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome the Philadelphia 76ers at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday at Capital One Arena. Washington staggers into the game hobbled by three consecutive losses while Philadelphia skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.

It was a hard-fought contest, but the Wizards had to settle for a 127-120 loss against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday. Washington's defeat came about despite a quality game from SG Bradley Beal, who had 42 points in addition to six boards.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia was able to grind out a solid win over the Utah Jazz on Monday, winning 103-94.

Philadelphia's victory lifted them to 15-6 while Washington's loss dropped them down to 6-13. Who's Playing

Toronto (home) vs. Houston (away)

Current Records: Toronto 15-5; Houston 13-7

What to Know

The Houston Rockets are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 115.5 points per game. They are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Toronto Raptors at 7:30 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena. Despite their defensive woes, Houston struts in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 120.9 points per game.

The Rockets fought the good fight in their overtime contest on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They needed just a quick three to secure the win, but they couldn't get it done before the clock hit zeroes and lost 135-133. Houston's loss came about despite a quality game from G James Harden, who had 50 points and six assists in addition to nine rebounds. Harden's night made it five games in a row now in which he has scored at least 32 points.

Meanwhile, Toronto fought the good fight in their overtime matchup but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost to the Miami Heat by a decisive 121-110 margin. SF Norman Powell put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 23 points along with eight boards.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
