Manchester United will pitch Jadon Sancho the prospect of forming one of Europe’s most-exciting attacks alongside Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, reports say. The Red Devils are hoping to land the Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window, having seen him shine at the Westfalenstadion this season.
Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is a big admirer of Sancho and plans to go after the Borussia Dortmund star this summer.
The England international has been in sensational form over in the Bundesliga, scoring 14 goals and weighing in with 15 assists from 23 league games so far.
United are ready to give Sancho the No 7 shirt in order to lure him to Old Trafford, with Chelsea and Liverpool also showing interest.
And the Evening Standard say United ‘will sell Sancho the proposition of forming one of the most exciting attacks in Europe.’
Should United sign the Dortmund star, he’d likely play on the right of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attack.
That area has mostly been occupied by Daniel James this season, with the Wales international impressing since his move from Swansea.

But Sancho would represent a significant upgrade on James, having bettered the winger’s goals and assists tally in all competitions this season.
Rashford’s place on the left is guaranteed.
The England international’s best position has been up for debate for years, with Louis van Gaal deeming him a centre-forward and Jose Mourinho a winger.
But Rashford has shut down the questions by blitzing 19 goals from the left of Solskjaer’s attack, finally coming good in the process.
Martial has scored 16 goals from the centre-forward position and he, too, would be in the trident.
And that would allow United to use Greenwood as a substitute or deputy, with the teenager still learning his trade.
Should the Red Devils sign Sancho, it would certainly make their attack significantly more stronger for next season.
But Danny Mills thinks the 20-year-old will should have major reservations about a sensational move to Old Trafford.
“If I was Jadon Sancho I’d be wanting to ask the questions: ‘Who else are you bringing in?’” he said.
“‘What other signings have you got lined up? What is the squad going to look like next season? Are you realistically going to be challenging for things?’
“‘Who is going to be the manager… is it still going to be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer next?’”
“He’s in a position of strength at the moment. He wants to go and win things, that’s the most important thing.
“He’s going from a fantastic club, he’s gone through his development phase, he’s now going to start hitting the peak development phase and he wants that to be the best years.
“There’s no point going to Manchester United next season if they’re going to finish sixth or seventh.”
Sancho is likely to cost United in the region of £120million.
And that would make him the club’s most-expensive signing of all time, costing £31m more than Paul Pogba.
