Premier League fixtures predicted: Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal lose, Man City win
This weekend’s Premier League results have been predicted by BT Sport’s ‘The Script’, and with Jose Mourinho’s return to management, it’s sure to be an exciting weekend of action.
Mourinho’s first game in charge of Tottenham, however, will end in despair for the Portuguese, if The Script is anything to go by.
They say that Spurs will lose 1-0 to West Ham, who are winless in five games this term.
In some of the weekend’s smaller games, the stats geeks have Everton drawing with Norwich 1-1, while Watford are apparently set to play out the same scoreline with Burnley at Vicarage Road.
In form Leicester, who are second in the Premier League, are being predicted to beat Brighton away from home to continue their fine run.
Meanwhile Wolves, who have been inconsistent this season, are being touted to lose 3-0 away at Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth.
If BT Sport are correct, then Newcastle should enjoy an easy weekend as they’ve been picked to thrash Aston Villa 4-1 at Villa Park.
The bigger shocks, though, come in the games involving the top six sides in the league.
Not only will Spurs lose to West Ham, but Arsenal will suffer the same fate at home to Southampton, who are being predicted to win 1-0.
Premier League champions Manchester City will supposedly beat Chelsea with a whopping 5-1 scoreline.
BT Sport have gone one better for Manchester United’s visit to Sheffield United, however, as they believe the Blades will come out on top 5-0.
Elsewhere, league leaders and title favourites Liverpool are expected to lose to Crystal Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park.
