In this Video David Benavente demonstrates how he can transform a wild and rugged piece of raw Pinus Sylvestris (Scots pine) in to the beginnings of a wonderful bonsai.



This demonstration was done in late 2020 on request of the Bonsai Association Belgium after they were forced to cancel plans to hold the 22nd Trophy exhibition in Genk. Unfortunately covid-19 travel restrictions meant I was unable to travel to David Benaventé's garden in Galapagar Spain. But his team did a good job of capturing enough footage for me to edit two demonstrations together.



The BAB wanted to put out some content around the weekend the exhibition would have been held to show the global bonsai community they were missing them all at this time.
