The Batman set photos reveal better look at Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit
As production continues for The Batman, new behind-the-scenes photos from the set of director Matt Reeves’ highly-anticipated DC filmÂ have arrived online through Twitter (via Comic Book), featuring Robert Pattinson’s stunt double as he rides on the new version of the Batcycle, which first made its live-action film appearance in 1997’s Batman & Robin. The photos also give us a much better look at the cool design and new details of Pattinson’s full all-black Batsuit. Check out the set photos below!

Warner Bros. Pictures has confirmed all of the cast and crew for the film.Â Starring alongside Robert Pattinson’s Batman/Bruce Wayne is ZoÃ« Kravitz (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,Â Mad Max: Fury Road) as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano (Love & Mercy,Â 12 Years a Slave) as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright (theÂ Hunger GamesÂ films) as the GCPDâs James Gordon; John Turturro (theÂ TransformersÂ films) as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard (The Magnificent Seven,Â Black Mass) as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson (Farewell Amor) as mayoral candidate Bella ReÃ¡l; with Andy Serkis (theÂ Planet of the ApesÂ films,Â Black Panther) as Alfred; and Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,Â Dumbo) as Oswald Cobblepot.
Reeves and Dylan Clark (theÂ Planet of the ApesÂ films) are producing the film, with Simon Emanuel, Michael E. Uslan, Walter Hamada and Chantal Nong Vo serving as executive producers.
Plot details are still being kept under wraps but The Batman is reportedly set to explore the Dark Knight’s younger years with Reeves further hinting at the film’s connection to the iconic comic book story arc “Year One” by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli which was published in 1987.
Reevesâ behind-the-scenes creative team includes Oscar-nominated director of photography Greig Fraser (Lion, Dune); hisÂ Planet of the ApesÂ production designer, James Chinlund; editors William Hoy (theÂ Planet of the ApesÂ films) and Tyler Nelson (Rememory); and Oscar-winning VFX supervisor Dan Lemmon (The Jungle Book); Oscar-nominated SFX supervisor Dominic Tuohy (1917,Â Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker).
Also on board are Oscar-nominated sound mixer Stuart Wilson (1917, theÂ Star WarsÂ franchise); Oscar-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran (1917,Â Little Women,Â Anna Karenina) and costume designers Glyn Dillon (theÂ Star WarsÂ franchise) and David Crossman (1917, theÂ Star WarsÂ franchise); hair designer Zoe Tahir (No Time to Die,Â Spectre); and Oscar-nominated makeup designer Naomi Donne (1917). As was previously confirmed, Michael Giacchino (Cloverfield, Let Me In, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) will be composing the score for the film.
The Batman opens in theaters on June 25, 2021.
